Metro: Bishop Blanchet — After shocking Seattle Prep to win Sea-King 3A tournament, Braves seek to atone for sub-par showing at last year's state tournament. Senior OH Stephanie Augustavo is a standout. Watch out for: Bainbridge.

KingCo 3A: Mount Si and Issaquah — Senior outside hitter Marissa Hill, a two-time all-league selection, and senior defensive specialist Emily White, a second-team pick, lead a Wildcats team that won the Valley Division title and reached the semifinals of the state-qualifying Sea-King District tournament. Former Lake and Valley divisions have merged into a single eight-team league. Watch out for: Mercer Island, Newport.

Seamount: White River — Led by junior OH Shealun Campisi, Hornets are loaded with veterans from last year's third-place state finishers. Watch out for: Kennedy, Fife, Highline.
